The New Type of Hollywood Madam
by Sensual Lina ~ March 30th, 2010. Filed under: General.Well, technically she is International Madam based in LA. For few dollars, she will give you a make over, therapy and a girl of your dreams. Well, not really few bucks, more like 150,000 to 200,000, but when what’s few hundred thousand dollars when one is a true millionaire and joins VIP service matching attractive women and rich men?
The Madam I am talking about is Patti Stanger, the CEO and founder of The Millionaires Club, a high end matchmaking service.
I have to say that watching her show has become my new guilty pleasure. I watch new episodes, I watch reruns, and I watch reruns of reruns. If I could watch Patti’s show and Bret Michaels’ Rock Of Love on split screen I would be in “junk TV” heaven! Come to think of it … these two should do a Diamond rock Of Love show. Screening sessions by Patti of stripper/bike chicks aiming to be next Mrs. Michaels would be priceless!
On serious note, when you are paying someone 150,000 to find you potential Mrs. right you would think that someone would check more than bust measurement. Apparently not so much. Seems that Eros does stricter screening than Millionaire Club.
Here are few examples of damn undesirables sneaking past Ms. Stanger.
Meet Sarah Symonds, the professional mistress. Yes, one of the potential Millionaire Matchmaker dates is a tabloid star in the UK.
How about Playboy Cybergirl? Yeap, that one was missed too! And of course, who could have possibly suspected that professional escort actively advertising her unblurred pics could sneak past vigorous Patti’s screeners?

What makes it even more hilarious, is infamous “no sex in the club” rule. Guess escorts are not the only ones who use “money and other financial considerations are exchanged for companionship only” disclaimers. High end Madams, I mean Matchmakers, need them too.

LOL. This sort of show, as guilty a pleasure as it may be, contributes heavily to male cynicism regarding women; in which they are seen as being motivated by money only.
In all fairness, such women certainly exist. But quite a few women who prioritize other virtues in men ALSO exist. By placing the most materialistic aspects of women front-and-center and uppermost in male consciousness through TV; these shows tend to make guys like me rather cynical and prepared to treat women as fungible commodities with zero real emotive content beyond “want” and “need.”
So I think they do a disservice to women.
Still, it is hilarious the way the Madam (oops! I mean “matchmaker”) got bamboozled.

Thank you!
I would like to say that there is certain number of posts I plan on making each month, but in reality my posts are related to my life. So whenever something takes place that i feel i can and should write about, I do.
There is always something happening that is fun and interesting, but most of it is confidential so it stays off the blog
