Yet another “call gal” movie is out in main stream cinema. This time featuring one of my all time favorites Julianne Moore, up and coming Amanda Michelle Seyfried, and oh so hunky Liam Neeson.

My first impression of this movie is that it would make great late night Cinemax late series. Stand alone movie? Not so much. Way too many angles in this modern love quadrangle.

So what is this movie is about? I mean besides hot steamy girl-on-girl action between Juliane and Amanda. It is about love, obsession, false perceptions, and of course immaculate interiors.

Chloe, played by Amanda Seyfried, is allegedly an upscale prostitute roaming the wine bars and hotel cafes picking up clients. Somehow, Catherine Stewart (Moore) learns of Chloe’s occupation and even hires her to “test” her hubby’s fidelity. Who would have though that this could possibly spiral out of control? I am not even going to get into whole “if you gotta hire escort, hire someone who is not picking up guys in hotel bars” speech. After all, we are talking about fiction, not reality here.

So, what happens once sexually repressed middle aged career woman/wife/mother lets unstable sociopathic working girl into her life? At first, her worst nightmare is confirmed; she learns that her husband does play around. Well, allegedly plays around. What happens next? Catherine has sex with Chloe so she can be in bed with her own husband by proxy. After all, actually making wild passionate love to one’s own husband is not nearly uncomplicated as making out with his alleged lover and definitely would not make for hot girl on girl scene.

Chloe is then immediately asked for latest STD test results (she is good girl and has them o stand by) and soon after confirming her healthy status is …… rather ungraciously dumped.

Somehow, Chloe decides that seducing sex-craved teenager would be as good come back at Catherine as any. And in Catherine’s very own bed of course.

In the meantime, was there any one in this movie who has not done Chloe? Yes! The Husband. Apparently, unstable sociopathic hotel bar escort made it all up! Once again, who would have thought? Well, this was officially last straw that pissed Catherine off and Chloe had to leave the building. Literally. Out through the window she went never to be seen again.
The only thing that is missing in this movie would be happily reunited family getting a golden retriever after attending Chloe’s funeral. But then there is always a chance of sequel.

Moral of the story? If you have bi-curious thoughts and think your spouse is cheating on you, don’t prowl hotel bars searching for escort. Hire well reputed Lady and have a threesome!
